HISTORY

In the 1950s,
generation after generation, we were all farmers. During the 50 years of the Republic of China, we established the first agricultural processing factory, laying the technical foundation for the processing and manufacturing of agricultural products.

From 1967 to 1976, we were the largest exporter of agricultural products to Japan in the country.



In the 1970s,

We discovered that Brazilian mushrooms were highly beneficial to health, and we dedicated ourselves to cultivating and developing Brazilian mushrooms. We were honored to be designated by the Agricultural Committee of the Executive Yuan as a cultivation demonstration farm – the Vanguard Health Technology Farm.

In order to assist more people in maintaining their health, we resolutely invested significant funds into the biotechnology industry. We established a strong biotech research and development team, dedicating ourselves to researching and developing various components that affect the functions of different organs and systems in the body.



In the 1990s,

1. In 1990, our strong biotech research and development team, comprising over 30 scientists, expanded its focus to include medical research.

2. In 1992, we obtained patents and certificates for the production technology of low-temperature decomposition of small molecules.

3. Also in 1992, our low-temperature decomposition technology for small molecules received recognition and subsidies from the Technology Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. We discovered that fucoidan, derived from brown algae, was much more effective than Brazilian mushrooms. Determined to invest heavily in public-private partnerships, we devoted ourselves to researching and developing Taiwanese small molecule fucoidan, and subsequently published our findings.

4. In 2014, we were awarded certification for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) for our food products.

5. In 2012, we obtained certification for "Efficacy Patents."
   In 2015, we received international ISO 9001 certification.
   In 2016, we were certified with international ISO 22000 certification.
   Also in 2016, we obtained AFAQ certification.


In 2020:


1. In 2020, we invested in researching red algae and refined our purification technology.

2. In 2020, our investment company was awarded a NT$30 million grant from the National Ministry of Science and Technology for value creation and was designated as a team under the Ministry of Science and Technology's Innovation Program.

3. In 2021, we made significant advancements in extraction and purification technology, making strides in precision medicine, particularly as testing reagents for tumors and viruses.

4. Also in 2021, our investment company received subsidies from the Keelung City Government's Industrial Innovation Research and Development Promotion Program.
